GTA VI Map Guide — Every Leonida Location Revealed So Far

A detailed breakdown of every region in GTA VI's Leonida map: Vice City, the Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and more. What we know about each area.

GTA VI Map Guide — Every Leonida Location Revealed So Far

Rockstar's version of Florida — the State of Leonida — looks to be the most diverse and detailed open world they've ever built. Based on both trailers, here's every confirmed region and what we know about each.

Vice City

The crown jewel. Rockstar's modern Miami is bigger, denser, and more alive than the 2002 original.

What we've seen:

  • Neon-drenched Ocean Beach at night — high-rise condos, nightclubs, beachfront crowds

  • Downtown business district with glass skyscrapers and elevated highways

  • Working-class neighborhoods with pastel bungalows

  • A massive port area with cargo ships and industrial infrastructure

  • Social media-obsessed populace — NPCs constantly taking selfies and livestreaming

Key locations spotted:

  • Ocean View Hotel — recognizable from GTA: Vice City, now visibly aged

  • Shore Court Garage — Jason and Lucia's early safehouse in Ocean Beach

  • Paradise Garage — Watson Bay property, weapon locker and storage

  • Rideout Customs — vehicle modification shop

Vibe: The satire here targets influencer culture, crypto wealth, and the absurdity of modern Miami. Think neon, humidity, and desperation wrapped in luxury branding.

Leonida Keys

The tropical island chain stretching south from Vice City. Bridge-connected, with smaller islands accessible only by boat or air.

What we've seen:

  • Stilt houses over turquoise water

  • Drug smuggling routes — fast boats, nighttime deliveries, Coast Guard evasion

  • Jet-ski sequences through mangrove channels

  • Sunken shipwrecks suggesting underwater exploration

  • Brian Heder's operation center — likely a waterfront compound

Vibe: The Keys are where the criminal underworld meets paradise. Less urban chaos, more organized crime in flip-flops.

Grassrivers

The Everglades analogue. Swamp, sawgrass, and things that want to eat you.

What we've seen:

  • Airboats cutting through marshes (playable, based on trailer footage)

  • Alligators — both as environmental hazards and possible hunting targets

  • Isolated cabins and stilt shacks — likely drug labs or hideouts

  • Fanboats and mudding vehicles

  • Dense vegetation suggesting hunting/fishing side activities

Vibe: RDR2's wilderness DNA transplanted to modern Florida. This is where Rockstar's wildlife and survival mechanics shine — and where you go to hide bodies.

Port Gellhorn

Industrial port city on Leonida's Gulf Coast. Think Tampa meets Jacksonville — working docks, shipping containers, and blue-collar crime.

What we've seen:

  • Massive cargo port — import/export operations, container yards

  • Industrial districts with warehouses and factories

  • Working-class neighborhoods

  • Raul Batista's bank robbery recruitment likely based here

Vibe: The unglamorous engine of Leonida's economy. Where the real money moves — literally, through shipping containers. Expect heist setup missions and smuggling operations.

Ambrosia

Small-town Leonida. Americana with a Florida twist. Possibly contains a theme park parody (GTA's take on the Orlando parks).

What we've seen:

  • Main street with mom-and-pop shops

  • Rural highways and gas stations

  • Hints at a large entertainment complex (theme park?)

  • Surrounding farmland and orange groves

Vibe: The "normal" Florida — or what passes for normal in Leonida. Small-town weirdness, local corruption, and possibly the series' most unhinged side characters hiding behind white picket fences.

Mount Kalaga National Park

Leonida's wilderness interior. Mountains (by Florida standards), hiking trails, and off-road territory.

What we've seen:

  • Dirt trails and off-road vehicle sequences

  • Mountain overlooks and hiking paths

  • Wildlife — deer, boar, possibly bears

  • Camping areas and ranger stations

Vibe: Where you take your overpowered off-road vehicle to unwind after a heist. Also likely home to hidden collectibles, easter eggs, and the kind of isolated locations where bad things happen to NPCs who know too much.

Map Size Speculation

No official numbers yet, but community analysis suggests the Leonida map is roughly 2-2.5x the size of GTA V's Los Santos. The key difference isn't just raw size — it's density and diversity. GTA V had a lot of empty desert and mountain. Leonida appears to pack more interesting locations per square mile.
